Caption reads: To lengthen the boats and thus increase the load capacity the boats are cut in half and a new section built in the centre. Here is pictured the Curtiss' Brothers boat before 10 feet is added to the centre.

Shaun Vary notes: Here is a photo I took of "Curtiss Clipper". She was last fished by the Royka family, of Kingsville. She was then either sold or donated to the Kingsville Legion for display purposes. She was not restored, and ended up being scrapped approximately 2000. This is the last photo I got of her before her demise. It was taken about 1999.
