This small workboat was built in 1955 by Russel Brothers Limited as the S.L.S.A. Cornwall for the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. The S.L.S.A. was later renamed as the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, and the S.L.S.A. Cornwall was renamed S/VM Cornwall in response. She remains active for the SLSMC. Below Lock 4, Dec. 1997. Rory Dempsey comments (Apr.26, 2021): I put the boat there on a cradle we had made with our 35 ton Grove Crane. Prior to that we used an 18 ton Grove. I believe the tug and cradle was around 10 tons
