This small tug was built in 1952 as the fish tug B.J. & C.J. for James T. Lowe. She was later sold to Gerald Murphy, and then to Ross Herbert Fisheries. In 2000, she was purchased by Fitz Sustainable Forestry Management of Manitowaning, ON and converted to a tugboat in 2005. Type: Single Screw Tugboat Year Built: 1952 Builder: Russel Bros. Paul Capel notes: "This boat was built for James Low of Killarney and Owen Sound. Jim told me that the hull was built from a 'carved wooden block' that he and his brother Reg of Killarney designed. Original power was Chrysler Royal straight 8 - later a Detroit 6-71 GM diesel."

Phil LeBrocq comments (April 25, 2020): "Tom Gardner, the owner OF Fitz Forestry, bought the tug in 2000. We started the transformation in 2005 and finished it in 2006. My brother lives in SBM during the summer and got the info from the builders plate and from some fishermen in Killarney that knew of this boat.
