Little Ancaster has a steel anchor that was made about 25 years ago by my good friend and neighbour Aldei Lafrance. Aldei worked as a mechanic on the boats and replaced many a bottom on several of the boats during the winter months. He made me two anchors while he was working for the CIP at Baskatong. I also put a strong tow cord and a steel hook made from a nail like I used to do when I was a kid.

Jan. 9th, 2008, in Steve Briggs' optometry office in Owen Sound.
