Russel Bros."ALLIGATOR" type   WINCH TUG   Ancaster O W E N   S O U N D   M A R I N E   &   R A I L   M U S E U M The 1973 issue Canadian Dollar bill featured the Ancaster (the smaller boat) and the Missinaibi (larger boat) as originally captured in a black & white 1963 photograph by Malak Karsh (Ottawa) entitled "Paper & Politics". The photos depicts the two Russel Brothers, Owen Sound built lumber tugs cleaning up a log boom break which flooded the Ottawa river just below the Parliament Buildings.
